October Earnings : $41,900

The month of October is over and I am ready with calculations of my October earnings from all my major advertising networks. After seeing the results I am happy as well as sad at the same time. Happy because I had around 10% increment in total earnings. And, sad because I still could not bring Google Adsense earning below 50% of my total earnings. I wanted to bring Google Adsense earnings at around 50% of my total earnings, so that not all my eggs are in the same basket.

October Earnings

In total I made around $41,900 for the month of October.

Some Observations:

  • This total does not include earnings from advertising networks which are earning not very high for me like Chitika, Adversal, ShoppingAds, Shopzilla, FreedomOfAds, Bidvertisers and some other similar networks which I don’t track.
  • It does not include earnings from Widget Bucks which will be posting the first time earning in this first week of November. I will update this thread with the details when they get posted.
  • This does not include earnings from my network of directories which make something in lower $X,XXX.
  • It also does not include any links/ads directly sold to advertisers
  • Adsense is still the biggest earner at being around 60%. I think I need to work quite hard to bring it around 50% or my total earnings. I have recently sold one of my biggest adsense earner website, but still I could manage to get my earnings from adsense at the same level (actualy 3% higher). I am quite happy about that.
  • I had the best month with Kontera and Text-Link-Ads. They are my second and third best advertising networks. Made around $5800+ with Kontera and $3200+ with Text Link Ads. Google is still the topper at around $25,000

    • So, I have achieved overall around 10% increase in revenue. What about the costs? Well, in my case the costs are minimal. My biggest cost is my two self manage dedicated servers with Layered Tech and Cari.net which in total costs around $200. No PPC at all. I have all organic traffic from search engines.

    So, whats the plan for next month?
    Well I would like to diversify my earning from Adsense and reduce it below 50%. Lets see if I can achieve it. Also, there are many sites where I am having some very old ads from focusin/mammamedia which does not seems to work any more. So will remove them and will put CPX Interactive ads back in which should be able to easily add around $600 to $1000 to my bottom line.


    So, overall a good month for me. All ready to take November with full force. Hey, where are my those old Christmas shopping sites.

    You will surely reach that. Remember its difficult to reach from $0 to $100 but easiter to reach $100 to $1000. Thats what I think.

    I agree Andrej, but what my point is that all imported cars in my country are taxed at 100% tax. That doubles the cost.

    Hmm… that is little difficult … not all people on this earth are good… as some people don’t like it and copy the content or just do click bomb ur site and mail google saysing “owner asked me to click on the site, just wanted to confirm that its not illegal.” :D:

    You earn lot of from adsense, there are no adsense ads on your blog/directories..

    Jack, I don’t put adsense ads on directories. But I do put adsense on my blog posts after they get old (for visitors coming from search engines).

    I always sucked at adsense and im really happy to see some people like you making lots of monies off it.

    I think you’ve just inspired me to get my 13 year old kid brother to start working on my OLD websites which are currently running on adbrite and to work towards the goal of my first adsense cheque imho..

    Very impressive figures. I, like the people who commented before me, would love to be on that level someday. I know you don’t want to divulge your top earning websites, but not counting directories, how many sites do you own?

    Not counting directories, around 200 or so. But again, its 10% of the sites which are earning 90% of the profit.

    Unbelievable. Huge congrats. I’m still in the negative, spent a bunch of money on IM tools, ebooks and what not but haven’t made a penny of income. I’m hoping to try some of the strategies you have posted on your blog and get into the green.

    my october earnings: $700 USd. 80% for adsense. maybe i have to try some other programs to make money to get more. but i was making 20$/month 2 months ago, so i think im doing well! my goal is make 100$ a day, witch i think its not difficult with adwords and affiliate programs.

    Congratulations for your success this month and the others.
    I agree with you when you say you want to cut down to 50% your adsense earnings in your overall profits from all programs. A see many people depending only in adsense and some day they can have a surprise.

    My last month earnins are around 70 bucks and in reviews… lol i still have a lot to learn….

    Don’t worry Hugo, learning is a slow process but just don’t give up. Online business is NEVER a earn quick business. It as real as offline business. Follow all the rules of offline business and you surely gonna make it a day. Believe me. There is nothing special in people earning big. Just consistency.

    No.
    First thing, its not 50% and second thing I never said that this earnings are from this site only ( I started monetizing this site from this money (November) only . That is my total personal earning. Though I work for a compnay (my own company) and I get salary from it. The company itself makes much more than that.

    Great report Karamveer. Never knew it you are so BIG in the business. This also broke the perception of mine of Indians being Secondary in terms of earning 5-6 digit figures over there western counterparts. :)
