TNX Review

I am using TNX.net from last one and half month. This post is review of my experience with them. This is also an information on how am I using them for my benefit and also how can you use them.

When I read about TNX on DP forum, I thought, oh no, not one more text link selling/buying website. But when I studied it thoroughly to find out how it is different from text-link-ads.com and similar other link buying/selling websites, I found out that it has a major plus point, which is missing in all others. The plus point in TNX is that you can sell links on any website and any page. Even when the page has PR0 page rank. Most of the other text link buying/selling networks does not accept such sites.

So, if you have a site which has less PR and not able to get into Text-Link-Ads or similar other networks, you can still join TNX.net and earn some revenue. No need to wait for your website to get higher page rank.

Now, that said, how did I used it and how much did I got paid?
Well, first of all I put it on a website which did not had much unique content but had a page rank of 4 and around 3000 pages indexed. I hope everybody know how easy it is to create such non-unique sites, but those sites do not get search engine traffic. But I did not need search engine traffic. I added the code from TNX in my template so the links were sold for every page. In one month, I made around 140,000 TNX-points.

Now after earning those points, I had two options, either get paid for those points or use those points for my benefits. I have chosen to do the both. I redeemed around 100,000 points for cash and using 40,000 points for launch my 10 new sites.

Those 10 new sites of mine does not need very high PR links to start with. So I have chosen only PR0 and PR1 links (which are very cheap as compared to high PR links). In 4,000 links for each sites I have got around 300 to 400 unique backlinks for my site. Yes, unique back links, because TNX.net allows you to upload a file which contains unique sentence on each line with your unique links. Also, you can choose how many links you can allow on one site. You also have an option to choose your niche market of sites.

So, overall what I got in return of a useless (because of it non-uniqueness) PR4 sites is:

  1. Cash of $66/month
  2. Around 3000 to 4000 PR0 and PR1 backlinks for my new sites. (I did not need higher PR link for my new sites right now)

So, I am really happy using them and highly recommend them.

Great work. If I get my hands on a good PR3-4 Domain, can I try such a thing? Making a huge non-unique site wont be a problem. But, do you think search engines can index it quickly?

Also, what if a page is not indexed. Can links be sold on it too?

    Thanks a lot!

    Regards,

KMKM, I think buying an expired domain won’t be of much help here. But thats just my thoughts.

Martina, How they work is like this:

For every link placed, you get points (based on the page’s PR and number of backlinks to the website) and for those links you can take/buy backlinks from them. For example you can buy 100 backlinks for 100 points from pages with zero pagerank and less than 500 backlinks to it.

I’ve already joined with tnx.net and managed to get some backlinks. When compare to any other link building techniques, tnx.net gives most easiest way to get backlinks.

Hey Jim I was trying to contact you but the page contact send me in the same page I am!! So I want to ask you something. Today I login into Tnx and I see I earn 5000 more point, so I controll the stats and I notice 2 weird things:
    1) Yahoo say I have u to 10000 index page, tnk just 399!
    2) it say I sold 95 link, so I check the pages where I sold the link, but I dont see nolink in these pages!

I put it in a website using joomla and I read the instruction about it so I install the module and put in the left menu, so there is where the link shhould show up.

Then I want to ask you about your email subscription. I subscribe in your blog with feedburner, but today I saw you put another email subsciption, so I subscribe over there too with my other email, because sometimes the one I used for feedburner have problem and I dont receive email.

but will google like text-link-ads.com or tnx.com style site?

  13. jimkarter responded on 18 Nov 2007 at 7:42 am #

If you are careful, you can add various type of different text to make each of your link look unique with some different text around it. So no way (ok, almost) to figure out that is is a paid text link.

After reading this I remembered that after reading a post at digitalforum I joined them a long time ago but I never did anything with it besides placing the code on a blog I have which has a PR4.

Just logged in and found that I have 89,550 points :)
I guess I need to look into this again. Thanks for reminding me.

  26. Wade responded on 17 Jun 2008 at 6:35 pm #

Actually I think buying an already ranked domain could benefit for the TNX service. The TNX service uses google and yahoo’s pageranking score to determine how much to charge to advertise on your site. So say you buy a PR4 site, you will get paid more TNX points per link than a PR0 site. Even higher than a 1 and 2 PR. Then add tons and tons of pages. If it is a blog, post everyday, even maybe twice a day. Each one of my pages gets a link from the TNX service. Even the archive pages, posts, everything. Every indexed page can hold a link. I have about 700+ points in one week. I have done nothing to my site at all. Just added the code. Advertisers picked my site, and about 95% of my pages have a link placed on them, each generating me points. If my site was a PR4 I would be getting probably triple the points per link.

As long as one uses this program to get limited number of links, it is ok. Otherwise he risks a google penalty or something like that.

Honestly that return seems very little! Only $66 for a whole month. The links are great though and that’s what I need most :)

  33. Cellulean responded on 15 Oct 2009 at 5:33 pm #

I too think that $66 is a very low return in a that amount of time. However, the good part is that the links will help you overtime and hopefully you can make a lot of cash in the long run.
