Google Adsense Launches Video Units
Google adsense recently launched “Video Units” for USA publishers, by which you can earn money by showing youtube videos on your site.
Here is the screenshot from Adsense account.
What are they doing is that they are integrating the banner just above the youtube video as shown below:.
Here is what google reports about it:
Relevant, Premium Content
Deliver high quality video content to your site. Choose categories, individual content providers, or have Google target your site’s content.
Targeted, Non-Intrusive Ads
Earn revenue from relevant, user-friendly ads targeted to your site and to the videos being played.
Enhanced User Experience
Attract and retain users with highly relevant, frequently refreshed video from popular content providers.
Customizable Players
Customize the color theme and layout of the player to best fit your site.
So from these video units you will get youtube ads as well as banners embedded in it.
So thats another way to earn money from Google Adsense.
But does it gonna make more money then putting the banner and youtube videos separately? That is still to be seen.

Hi! Could you tell me something… if I’m from Romania but I have blogs only in english… does it matter? I mean.. can I put Google video ads?

Right now video ads will only show up in the accounts of people who has address of USA in their accounts and have english sites. So you will not see the video ads in your account. But if you see it, you can sure put it.

Usa user has advantage on this, I hope it can be use for international user soon, wish I had Usa to sign up for adsense.
