November Earnings : $45,000

Another month is over for me and I just calculated my earnings for the month of November. For the month of November, I made little over $45,000 from various advertising network. Last month, I made $41,900, so this is around 7% increment from month to month basis.

Last month, I also decided to diversify my earnings little more so that the percentage of my earnings from Adsense should reduce. This month I was able to reduce my Adsense earnings to around 55% of total by diversifying.

november earnings

The biggest difference this month (and hence an increment of around around $2900) was from this blog’s earnings (which I will write about in another post).

The biggest earner is still Google Adsense making around $25K, being following by Kontera at around $6K. The third biggest money earner for me is still text-link-ads.com making over $3.5K

Widget Bucks referrals also make some good money for this month to me. It seems I started liking them again.:) I reached my highest earnings ever from Commission Junction this month due to some good posts on this blog of mine.

So, that is all about my November earnings. How did u do for the month? How much did you made? Irrespective of what you made, were you able to increase it from last month? If not, that should be the focus. Lemme know.

Edit: As some of you asked, whether this earnings are from this blog or from other sites (how many). So to clearify, I run around 200+ website other than this blog and these earnings from from those websites.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on this :) infact having 7-10% incremental growth is fairly good considering at one point, such big networks reaches saturation.

I am sure you must be feeding lot of content to it. :)

Very nice. If I were you I’d spend some of that on a new blog design. LOL. Hearts, stars, and clouds look just a bit gay - unless that is the look you are going for! :) Also, looks like your digg script is throwing errors this morning.

Thanx Pushkar, infact most of that growth part is due to this new blog of mine.:)

Brent, yes I am working on new design.:)

Nice. I like this blog and read it from time to time, though I am not an avid reader (its better to get things done than just read about how others are doing it, otherwise you will never get things done yourself and just constantly be in awe of others). It offers some good advice in the same way as Self Made Minds. I wish everyone would stop getting on the John Chow bandwagon. All his posts are commercial and actually offer very liitle advice.

  9. Brent responded on 03 Dec 2007 at 10:14 am #

I agree Nesa..I have never liked John Chow’s blog for that very reason.

What websites do you use to make the money you talk about in your earnings report. Because this blog doesnt really have a chance to make that much advertising and cosidering I dont see adsense anywhere.

  21. jimkarter responded on 05 Dec 2007 at 2:06 am #

Those earnings are surely not from this blog. Those earnings from my other sites too. This blog made around $2200. I will be making a new lbog post about it soon.

Geeee, 45k+ . When I’m looking on my earnings of 450, they are looking so small. I’ll keep visiting your blog, who knows maybe I will “catch” something from you to earn more.
    Congrats.

  26. jimkarter responded on 06 Dec 2007 at 11:17 am #

@cool, You will never see any google ads on the front page or any of the posts which are still listed on front page.
When the post moves to the next page, I add the google ads and shorten the post.

@Aleks, Don’t worry man! Just few years before, I was also in that situation only.

  27. Fahad responded on 09 Dec 2007 at 9:38 am #

Hey, congrats on your earnings! How do you manage to run 200+ websites??? I am guessing that a lot of those are not updated anymore but still attract visitors? Please do make a post about how to manage multiple sites effectively? :-)

  28. A Nesa responded on 09 Dec 2007 at 10:18 am #

I read from another post on this blog that he put a good deal of effort on most (probably all) his sites either in the beginning or from time to time. Some, of course get consttnt dedication such as this blog.

It would be good though if you can dedicate one whole post on how you manage so many sites interms of marketing, content creation, assessing traffic, revenue, etc.

  29. jimkarter responded on 10 Dec 2007 at 12:25 am #

Fahad, not every site need regular update. But yes, all of them need some updates and backlinking time to time.
Nesa, I will surely write a post about how do I manage my sites.
