January 2008 Earnings: $47,750
After a long vacation, I really feel good seeing my best month ever. Yes, January 2008 is my best month till now. I made a total of $47,750 in this month.
I was on some good long vacation in December and January. And, surprisingly December 2007 came out to be my worst month and January, the best.
Failing my earning diversification efforts, again Adsense took 65% of my earning pie at around $30,555.95 Second biggest earner remained Kontera at $6,645.43
The biggest improvements in this month were in Adsense, Kontera, CJ and ClickBank. Text-Link-Ads is loosing some charm and the money, I used to make $3000+ with them, but this month it is just below $3000 mark. WidgetBucks also seems to be getting lost somewhere and not making me much money.
Burst, Casale and Adbrite are regular constant earners, each making lower 4 digits each.
Here is the comparison of this with my previous earnings:
- January 2008 : $47,750
- December 2007 : $41,300
- November 2007: $45,000
- October 2007: $41,900
- September 2007: $40,000
So what am I expecting for February 2008. Not much, to be frank. I am expecting February to be not a very good month because of two reasons: 1. Less number of days as compared to January. 2. Bad state on internet in India and some other countries. I do have a lot of Indian visitors on some of my Indian sites. I am seeing traffic drop of about 60% on them.

Congrats, very good work.
We exchanged posts a few days back on DP forums, and today I found a thread talking about this post and clicked, just to read the full story.
From what I see, you make an average of $240 from every web site, you can make the same $47750 with just one web site, and, you have much less work.
I have just launched a new blog, and until the end of this year, I will make about $50000 monthly from this simple blog.
SEO is the key, and SEO brings traffic, and traffic=money.

My personal site doesn’t even get more than $3 a month, however my free audio uploading service ( http://www.soundupload.com ) earns me enough to pay for my hosting - which is not good really. I really need to start thinking of better things.

Thanks for your wishes. As many of you asked, how many sites I have. So, in total I have around 200 sites but 80% of the earnings comes from 20% of the sites.
I have mostly saturated two niches, where EVERY keyword related to those niches has at-least 2 of my sites in top 3 and 5 of my sites in top 10 ranking on Google. I do my best to keep those rankings.
Trying to saturate two more niches.

Wow! January 2008 is also my highest earning month since I started my blogs(just two of them, btw). $247 from adsense and $90 from TLA. If I can only raise that to at least $1000 monthly, I’ll be a more than happy person!

Im on my way to $100,000 a month and 0.1% of it will be from adsense.
Currently making round about $50000 all from working for corporate clients.
Looks like we’re both doing the opposites and thriving.
But, $50000/mo is nothing considering the fact that there are a lot of people who make that in a day.
The focus should be on touching the $1000000 a month mark now
and im serious about this!

its great earning man. Ashwin 50k is much more than what peoples earn in these days from the sites. average peoples are earning is less than $100 a month only few of them crossing this limit. so this is good inspiration for the new comers who just started there business. just like me i just started my http://jawaan.com 2 weeks ago and not sure where i am gonna end up.

I do agree that widgetbucks and text-link-ads have been loosing their charm for some time now especially TLA I think they come off as very unprofessional at times and that really hurts when they are handling my money.
