Tyler Dikman on CNBC The Big Idea
Yesterday John Chow posted the news about Tyler Dikman, featured on “The Big Idea” on CNBC, about “How To Make Millions Fast”. John has posted the youtube video. I saw it. It is really a great video and I would surely recommend that you watch it as well. This is the second time Tyler is invited to “The Big Idea” show on CNBC.
Tyler started his company Cooltronics at the age of 15. When he was 5, he was making $20/hr through a lemonade stall. When he reached 17, he crossed a million dollars in sales for his business. Businessweek has named Tyler as one of the top 25 entrepreneurs under the age of 25. Currently his company doing millions of sales per year.
Here are the few things (read as secrets) Tyler Dikman has stressed in the video:
- Under-promise and over-deliver
- Get a mentor. Be the kid they wish they had
- Having too much business can also be bad
- Adapt to your client’s needs. People do business with friends
- Last but the biggest: Ideas don’t make you successful, but implementation makes you successful
I am really quite impressed with Tyler, specially with his first and last points. He was looking so confident in the show.
What do you think of him?

Well, he must have Marketing in his blood. He is probably a Marketing genius. Yet, he still stresses the importance of hard work so this is the most important thing to remember.

He knew what he wanted from a young age. Sounds just like my daughter. By the time she starts earning money online, look out world. She already knows too much…

I know him in person. He is a very nice guy. I thought he was very confident in that interview! His advice is excellent. I am going to follow it. He was talking to me about anything that I talked about and very down to earth. With just his kindness and encouragement I turned $100 into $10,000 within 8 months. Before talking to him, I was making $30-$100 reselling PSPs. After, I was making more money from online related stuff. Thanks Tyler!
