BANS and PHPBayPro Sales
Some of you, who regularly visit my blog may remember that around 10 days back I made a post about whether you have tried BANS and PHPBayPro. I also mentioned in that thread that I will try it too. I gave it a try and I did see some quick results in just 10 days.
I created two new websites. One is using BANS and the other is based on PHPBayPro and Wordpress. Both of these sites were created on around 6 months old websites which was already using my link strategies and was have a page rank of 2. Both of these sites already have few back links pointing to them.
I started the site on 5th of February. Added some unique content. Provided some back-links to some of the internal pages from my directories. Submitted sitemap to Google. Within a week, both of these sites has at-least one thousand+ pages listed in Google.
2 days back, I made my first sale with the BANS site. Rirst sale for PHPBayPro site came yesterday. Till the writing of this post, I have I 4 sales with BANS site and one with PHPBayPro. I am expecting the sales to grow with time as I am adding more and more unique content to the sites and more and more pages are being indexed.
Please remember that there are many similar sites available online. So you have to provide some value to your site by adding good unique content to it. Without it, these sites may not work wonders.
So, do I recommend these products to others? Yes, I highly recommed BANS which is working great for me. I also recommend PHPBayPro for people who are already familiar with Wordpress blog software and would like to stick to it and make money.

Jim, It would be good to know if you see the sales increase when you move up the SERPs for your keywords. I’d be interested to see what pages you are on with the results pages and if you avoid the dreaded Google sandbox.

Don’t forget to mention that BANS can also be used with WordPress. Now I myself have not done this just yet however some of the more professional BANS based sites I have seen take this route.
Nice write up.

My vote goes to the API version of phpbaypro - so much more versatile imo. Both rock though.

These results are from very long tail keywords and my site ranks no where as of now. I have started some campaigning for it. Lets see where it gets.

Jim, I heart that eBay.com is declining international users (including me). How did you managed to accept you? You live in India right?

Good write-up. I need to figure out more ways to build inbound links myself… On the BANS side, I have about 18-20 sites live and earn about 2k a month with them after 6 months.
Not a point/click solution and you should spend a little time with each site (1-2 hours a week in the beginning anyway) but once you have the menus and long tail research done, they earn well.
I have a pretty good series running in my sig about BANS. Quite a few tips and how to type vids.

Hello Jim-
There is another plugin that is called BayRss that displays eBay listings in your wordpress blogs. I have used it on some of my sites with decent results. It’s always nice to get those $25 registration commissions.

Yes. I am aware of it, but it is not complete script and you have to build a script around it. I have created a site http://www.furniture-auction.com around this script.

Jim,
You are an inspiration to people like me. I just built my site using phpBayPro and have couple of other sites through BANS. And all of them seems to be working great. You are right about unique content. I am planning to start adding it soon.
again, thanks for the info.
