Affiliate Marketing is Doing Great
On 10th of February 2008, I made a post titled “Adsense is not always the best“, where I discussed how a site made me more money in 48 hours, then what I was making monthly with Google Adsense.
I put those affiliate links on my site on 8th February 2008. So its now 15 days from the time I put those affiliate links on my website, which was previously making me $600/month through Adsense. In that post, based on the results of 48 hours, we estimated that this site would make me around $7,500. The affiliate networks/products I started promoting are Sytropin, LE Cash and Market Health.
Guess how much did this site make in 15 days?
Adv1 => $4,200
Adv2 => $1,106.06
Adv3 => $806.50

Based on these results, I think we can surely assume $10,000+ per month earnings with this site. Now, if we compare it with my January 2008 earning of $600 (from Adsense) from the same site, it is 1566% increase (or more than fifteen fold increase) in earnings.
I think its time that I give one hour to each of my site and see if my competitor is using any affiliate programs. Can I use it too? If they are using it, there are chances that it is more profitable than adsense, and can bring more profits to me as well. It will also help me in one of my long-term my goal of diversifying my earnings and bringing Adsense earnings below 50% level of my total earnings (which is still at 65% for January 2008).

In january we had 11,177 unique visitors and 29,552 page views.

I have a website that was getting 15.000 visitors a month (now 1.000) and made me over $1.000 on Google Adsense. I looked for affiliate but I couldn’t find any, just Amazon but they didn’t convert! Did you completely removed G! ads from this website? I could make more money by having just Amazon affiliate links?
Anyway just a correction. You actually made $1,106.60 for the Adv2 and not $1,106.06! Thats $0.54 more!!!

When I see something like this, I kick myself because of all the missed out profits that you could have had by using affiliate offers instead of Adsense ads.

Adam, its not always that you get such affiliate programs. After finding good affiliate programs for this niche, I tried to find such programs for my 50 other niche.. and guess what.. found nothing.
