Things People Do to Make Money
Yesterday, I was chatting with one of my friends in USA and he told me how he is making some money these days. He is making money from a site called brring.com. Brring is a website which provides you a free phone number which redirects to your existing number after playing an advertisement. You get paid for that advertisement listened by your caller.
So how is he making money? He just gave a pay booth number to brring.com which is just next to his building. He goes to craigslist every day and makes many “tempting posts” (you know what I mean) in various sections, cities and states. He says, everyday he manages to get a lots of phone calls, where people listen to brring ads. These calls make him around $25 to $30 per day.:)
So effectively what he did is just opened a free account with brring and posts everyday on craigslist with the phone number. So everyday around 5 posts make him $25. Not bad I would say. But if you ask me, I would say its unethical to do so. And, this is what I told my friend too. He just laughed.

Yup, its very unethical. I know people who post such ‘tempting’ posts to make people sign up for dating offers! The money is same, but the feeling of such kinda money sucks!

Sorry to bust the bubble but brring is actually a scam. They didnt pay anyone till date and never will. Receiving calls and making money is kinda stupid in VOIP industry.

Yeah, 1st of all, I agree it is unethical. I came across Brring.com a while ago too but never made a move. Honestly, your friend’s idea is pretty neat, sans the ethical part.

Yeah it is unethical…But, I do admire him. How he can think a creative way to earn money.

Stumbled upon the post whilst doing a search on “how to make money”. very lame but will require high volumes for this to be profitable. But as long as it brings in money, that’s all that matters.
