Blog Stats for March 2008
This month I had delays in posting my blogs stats and monthly earnings, as I was out of station and was busy with something else. So how did my blog do for the month of March 2008. I would say, pretty good. I track my blog on the pageview factor. And, I think I did well on that. So here are the stats.
In January 2008, I croseed the 80,000 pageviews mark. In February I did around 149,000 pageviews. This month, I crossed the 250,000 mark and got 271,206 pageviews, which is around 82% increase in the traffic. Here is the past pageview stats screenshot.
How did my other rankings like PR, RSS users, technorati rank, alexa rank etc. did? Ok, here is the screenshot for the same.
So, you can see from the screenshot that:
- PR stays same.
- Number of RSS feed readers increased from 607 readers to 802 readers in total.
- Alexa rank became better from 67,545 to 54,967
- A great increase in technorati rank from 42,090 to 14,157
- Yahoo backlinks changed from 11,600 to 11,737
So, overall I would say a good month to talk about.
How much I made from this blog? Well, I did not calculate them separately but I think it should be somewhere from $2k to $3k. Not sure.
How did I do in my overall earnings (earnings from all my sites). I just calculated them and they came out at around $61,000. I will just be making my second post about that.

I was waiting for this post since April 1st. 82% increase of traffic! That’s simply great. How about the earnings from this blog? did they increase, too?
And congratulations on reaching 60k mark per month. In your previous earnings report, you were expecting about 60k$, but it seems you’ve earned more than that.
I hope you cross 67 or 68k$ next month.

Your really know what are you doing. My blog has only about 10 visitors per day, but I start working on it today.
With 82% increase of traffic you’ll reach your goal(1,000,000 visits per month) really soon.

There was a huge jump in this month it seems. Still I think the Yahoo links need to be worked upon.

What about the number of unique visitor? Quite a big jump from Feb to Mar for pageview, anything got to do with that?

Jim, Great numbers are usually. I’m wondering if you visitors are viewing more than one page and how long they stay on your site. Or are they clicking the ads and leaving very quickly.

If you depend on link or site selling as a form of monetization you will definitely want to increase your http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?url=www.fortunehotels.in Alexa rank, because it will increase your bargaining power when it comes to ad pricing.
