Quick Adwords Tip

adwords tipsDo you run PPC campaigns though Adwords? Is your website targeted to some specific area where people understand/speak other language as well? For example, Hindi in India.

What about writing your ads in a local language (like Hindi) for your targeted visitors in that area. For one of my local portals, I was running cam site-targeted campaign. My ad copy written in hindi (my local language) got me 12 times (1100%) more click through that the same ad in English. In my case, there was nothing to convert, so I am not sure about the conversion rate, but CTR would surely be higher.

    There are adsense ads in my local language, but google doesn’t support website content with our local language. :(

    Sure, that’s because you’ll be more specefic. When you use local language and you target a country everybody will understund the used language and the CTR go up.

    thats bound to happen… when we use local language, the readers feel more at home and hence are more compelled to click on an ad.

    Yes even I found the same results with adsense.
    Sometimes Adsense shows regional ads and I got clicks on such ads. :d

    I have not more knowledge of PPC, but i don’t see any local language advertise till now. Good tip.
