Do your Karma, Don’t Wait for Results
One of my friends these days is following the teachings of Geeta. He has decided to work on a project for next 12 months without waiting for any types of results. Surprising, right? So lets see what is he doing?
Few days back, after seeing my post about making money in herbal business through MarketHealth, he tried few of the campaigns through PPC and made some money. He was not very happy with PPC and decided to go for regular SEO. He decided to give it a try in a different manner. I asked him about how he is planning to do it. This is what he said:
I am not planning to spend any money on it. But I am a good writer and can write very good reviews. So this is what I am planning to do:
- Create 1 Squidoo page every day for one of the products available from MarketHealth. They pay 50% of the sale price.
- Then write 5 article for it, the same day and submit it to ezine articles.
- Repeat this for 50 days for all the 50 offers of MarketHealth. Thats is one squidoo lens and 5 articles each day.
- Then start again from first offer and do it again and again (This time targeting different keywords but for same offers). This time with hubpages (or again with Squidoo only)
- If the time permits in between, submit all the Squidoo lenses and ezine articles to all social networking sites like StumbleUpon, Digg, Technorati etc. Will also comment related blogs (with or without nofollow)
- Thats it, keep repeating it every 50 days. I plan to pay the quantity game here (when I know that my writing skills (quality) is good enough).
This is what i call “Do your Karma, Don’t Wait for Results“, as suggested by Geeta. Creating one Squidoo page and 5 articles every day. And keep doing it without worrying about the past article on how they are doing. Saturate the market with your reviews and articles only.
I think it will surely work in long term and is really a good strategy. Best of luck for him. What do you think? Do you think this is going to work for him?
Welcome back!

This is an interesting strategy which I have never heard before. Just saturate the market with everything you can think of on one topic. That way hopefully you will gain as many people coming as you can who are looking for that one thing.
This is great but I would get sooooo bored. However, I have sort of decided to do this by focusing on one blog (my wealth/entrepreneur blog) rather than try to launch multiple blogs at one time. This way I kind of saturate the financial market with my material and gain as many readers as possible instead of speading myself too thinly

Well, this is not just a way, but this is the RIGHT way to earn. People use internet to find info and then to buy products. Its give and take policy, give info, take back a visitor to aff link and make a sale then. PPC and SEO are just tricks. Article marketing is the only thing which provides value to the society!

It’s a very good strategy and it will really workn in addition he will be writing his own articles, so he will not spend any money and that’s great. I think I’ll follow this strategy for another nich but 5 unique article + 1 squidoo per day is too mych for me I’ll go for 2 - 1.

@pankaj, why is it spam? He is creating good content pages and writing good content articles. Why is it spam?
@Make money, ya it will surely be a tough task as it involves a lot of writing, but I am sure he loves writing.
@Carol, ya, he won’t mind. Or may be he will come and comment here too.

It is a good idea, but it could get a little grueling after day 10. Do you think you could make it for more than 50 days? I don’t know if I could.
Jim Karter responded on 22 Jul 2008 at 8:36 am #
@Ricky Taylor, Yes, you can make more money in affiliate than adsense, if you do it right. And, “The Death Of Adsense” is just bullshit I would say. If you are complete fresher, I would suggest that you go for sitesell.
@Mike @ Forex Trading, yes it can get little boring after some time (lets say 10 days). But the hope of making money or seeing the money coming in is big booster. But doing your karma without worrying about all this is thing which is damn difficult. But thats what he says he is doing.. lets see..

Adsense is not dead at all, the problem is that there are a lot of MFA sites that pay pennies + there are some publisher that have crap sites and want to make money! Adsense should clean up their network and that’s what they are doing but not fast enough! You know that for now it’s hard to get approved than ever before?

I guess this is for someone who has good writing skills. As long as he had produced good content, sure the good result will come after that. Lots of luck for him. Wish I had time to do that too..

sounds like a good plan. there tends to be a lag really between efforts to increase backlinks and traffic, and the actual results on the serps and stats. so it’s good to just stick with the game plan, knowing that the effort will pay off soon enough.

Its not a bad ideal but i think you miss out if you dont learn the correct way to run a ppc campaign..i think the
“bread crumb way is good if you are willing to wait for a year or two for the money to come in. But the trick i believe is to do ppc, and while this is running and you have opt. Seo webpages then you can do your writing while you wait. I want alot of money so i have to hit it hard…but in the end the turtoise always wins the race..so i am a turtle with a the face of a rabbit.
