Buying A New Office
This post has nothing to do with “how to make money online”, but I still wanted to write about it. Here it goes.
I am currently running my small company from a very small office in the Pune city of India. I have a team of 16 people right now. I have been thinking of expanding my team and I think this is the right time to do so.
With the market slowdown, the real estate prices in India has dropped quite a bit. Around an year back builders were not ready to bargain even a penny, but these days they are running behind the buyers to sell their properties. I think this is the right time for me to go out and buy a bigger office. I think the reality prices will go down some more but I don’t want to wait as it is time for me to expand my team. Waiting will delay my growth time-line.
So, I have booked a new office of around 5,000 sq. ft. area in the city of Pune. This office will host 50 new employees. I am also not planning to sell my existing office. That means, within a year I should be able to accommodate 65 employees. Now, whether should I grow to 65 employees in a year or not, depends on the market conditions. But I am still targeting for it, that I should have 65 employees at the end of April 2010. I hope I will reach there (even before time).
We will get the possession of the office at the end of November 2008. Fit-outs and interiors will be done till March 2009. We plan to start using it from April 2009. I am pretty excited about it.
I am targeting for the aggressive growth in terms of the team. But considering the residual nature of the work, I don’t see any hurdles in achieving it. I will update you guys on how it is going.

Queries:
Also, do you have different ip for all of your sites ? How do you provide backlink with different ip.
I heard is some your post that only 10% of your website gives 90% of revenue, then do you keep othersites for backlink ?

May I ask how much salary you pay ?
I am running my business from Thailand and pay about 150 to 350 euro a person a month.

- I have 3 dedicated and few shared servers.

- content development and optimization of sites and building relationships.

-Salaries vary a lot based on the experience of the person. By the way - I love thailand.

It’s cool how I keep watching the “RICH” get even more “RICHER” in economic problems like these. Since things are cheaper, it’s bad for us lower income people and good for the higher income
