Going On Vacation
I am going on Christmas vacation from today till 4th of January. So, I will not be posting till 5th of January.
Just wanted to let people know because I don’t want any of the readers coming online to check the blog for new posts and finding nothing.
I am going to my hometown to spend some time with my parents. I will be back on 4th and will be posting on 5th January.
Welcome back!

DON’T PUBLISH THIS, Jim. I am just a concerned reader wondering why you are not taking this blog seriously, despite how much money you say it’s making you. I noticed yours is among the 100 best blogs in the world of “making money online” but while others post almost every day, you don’t. Even big names like ShoeMoney, JohnChow and the rest of them, they post almost every single day, but you don’t. I don’t think this is right. People apparently (including me) love reading your posts, so please keep it coming. Take this blog much more seriously than you are doing now. I hope this helps.

I am not sure Jim has stated how much “this” blog is making him, his previous posts about income have been about his network of hundreds of sites.
Either way all of the people you mention above make a lot more money doing affiliate marketing than they do from their blogs, so I don’t blame them for concentrating on the core business in the current economic crisis.

But Jim is learning too much money on the table. This blog ranks remarkably high on google (top 10) for incredible competitive keywords such as “Make Money Online”, “Making Money Online Blog” etc… along side with the biggest names on the subject. So, I think posting much more frequently will give Jim much more money since he receives a heck of traffic by being high in Google. Also, (most importantly to me) we will benefit a lot more from his posts. Tell you something Jim, I ENJOY your postings a great deal and always look forward to them… but you have this worrisome attitude of “starving” me and others like me who always look forward to your posts. I hope this year, 2009, you will finally live up to your resolution (that you made last year - 2008) of 365 posts,

Oops, in the last comment, I meant to say Jim is “LEAVING” too much money on the table. Sorry for the typo.

@BecauseILoveJimKarter
Relatively true, he already has a company running with great employees, and a relaxed environment, he didn’t start this blog for the money, but I guess the money does encourage a few more posts.
He makes over 60 grand a month with his business, not including his own sites, like this one, so a few thousand a month from here, doesn’t make this first priority at all.
By the way, That is over 700 grand a year he makes with his company. Maybe closer to 800 if you include his sites.
He lives in India, $1 USD = $47.5 Indian Rupee. That is 34.2 million $Indian Rupee/year. I think he has enough to work with.

hey BecauseILoveJimKarter,
Its people like you who really piss me off!
Jim is a business man not a stay at home mom who blogs everyday, when are you guys gonna realise? john chow and all the others dont even write their own Blogs, they have others researching crap for them and faking it most the time, or..
Get real, lets see you posting everyday and running a 50,000 a month business empire with 15 employees plus family commitments and whatever else Jim has to manage in india…
Jims posts are quality and genuine, even if we get 1 a month - who cares? i dont~!
Its people like you who force Jim to sell his Blog and feel bad about commitments…
its a blog god damn it wake up! - who the hell dictates how often a post should be - oh i forgot GOOGLE did? duh!
be thankful Jim exists! dont expect (repect!) or shut up!

By the way where is your home town. In your journey I read that you had some conflicts with your father about your decision to take internet business as your career.
But I hope when he saw that you are now well established than they have realised that you were right.
