Will Not Be Updated Any More
This is to inform all the readers of the blog that this blog will not be updated any more. I will not be blogging here anymore.
This is due to the time constraints. I am really sorry about it, but I don’t have any other option. Other things are keeping me tied up and I am not getting much time to respond to comments and make new posts.
If somebody else wants to take it up, please contact me.
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

What the hell! I am sure its not the 1st of April today Jim. Then, what is this?
Are you really serious about it?

lol.. Y do you guyz sound shocked… did’nt you see this coming…
for wht you guyz always noticed but ignored to think about (other than his earnings updates and a few commonly known tricks), he clearly struggled to “Earn Money” from this blog (which, im guessing was the sole reason for creating it in first place).
Godbless all you ppl who rather believed in his… earning insights …
Jim Karter responded on 09 Jan 2009 at 1:59 am #
Well, to update you Mr. anonymous, this blog still makes more 4 digit dollars.
So thats surely not the reason. But feel free to think what you like.
As far as earnings are concerned, I don’t bother telling anyone anymore what it makes.
Abhishek responded on 09 Jan 2009 at 2:06 am #

If yes, I m ready to take up this blog and I’ll seriously work hard on this blog.
I give you assurance that I will not let this blog go down.
Thanks

Hi Jim,
I am not shocked but sad to see that u r closing the blog or want to hand over it. Probably the reason is the declining earning.
Anyway, i will not insist u to keep going where is no feedback, but since all posts of this blog are valuable for us, so if possible don’t down the blog and hand it over.
Your blog interface is very nice and always eye catching for me, so if possible email me the name of the plugins you have used to this blog.
Finally, wherever u stay and whatever new project u start, i wish u all the best from my heart.
Take Care

It is first time I would NOT say “nice post Jim”.
I learned a lot from this blog (of course there are various other blogs too), so I definitely not like to discontinue suddenly. I build many sites during past one year, all of them are at PR-4+ now.
As this blog is a way of communication between Jim and his fans, I would suggest Jim not to discontinue like this and post a value article in a month or so as per his convenience.
A question, what about eChemotherapy.com follow up, which was promised to make $1k within a year? How shall we get updated?
R. Swami responded on 09 Jan 2009 at 4:39 am #

Hey Jim,
Don’t go. Don’t sell the site. This is one of the best IM blog over the world.
You don’t own us anything and needn’t feel obliged to update posts or reply comments.
Just keep this space and say whatever you like to friends when you are free.
@Swami
Not every site of everybody cares PR and SERP.

PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSS, Jim, don’t close this blog and don’t hand it over to anyone else. We love you and love reading from you. Please don’t! I know how it can be when other things take your time, but this is your baby, Jim… it’s your own way of HELPING to give back to the IM world. You have a lot inside you that we will all continue to benefit from. Why not dedicate a few days in a week or even month to at least say something to us in this blog. Please don’t close it! Your honesty and genuine desire to help has always expressed itself in everything you do. Why discontinue now when we need you the most??!! Please don’t close this blog, I repeat! Please. No one has the right to stop you, but we are pleading with you. Please!
BecauseILoveJimKarter, :) responded on 09 Jan 2009 at 6:45 am #
I know we don’t owe you anything, Jim, but just think of it - you have so much to teach others that will CHANGE their lives and they will be forever grateful to you for, but you don’t want to continue? By keeping this blog updated and by helping us with the information that you do, analyses and all that, we get richer and are able to make changes in our lives. Please don’t neglect us - especially now that with the global financial problems, we surely need blogs like yours, especially YOURS as you seem more down to earth. I will appeal one more time - PLEASE DON’T CLOSE THIS BLOG OR HAND IT OVER TO SOMEONE ELSE! Please spread some good karma by keeping this blog up and continuing to post to it - with the realization that you are HELPING other people. Or don’t you care to help other people anymore? Please forgive my rant, but I feel so moved to tears that you want to discontinue posting to this blog.

Please, Jim, can’t you see from all the comments so far that we all LOVE you and want to continue reading from you? Even before you said you were going to close this blog, I commented in your blog using the name “BecauseILoveJimKarter” and that’s because I (and many others who read your blog) surely, certainly and absolutely love you!
Sometimes in life how other people feel also matters when we make our decisions. We certainly won’t feel okay and won’t be happy if you close this blog or stop posting to it. We hold you dear and want to continue reading your posts. PLEASE DON’T let us down and leave us so suddenly. PLEASE!

Man its a hard time for everyone right now, recessions, busy days and we are sure you have oodles of other business ventures which do take a toll on your time…
But please consider NOT selling this Blog, and even if you dont update it every few weeks so what! id rather you keep it and perhaps in a few months you find more time again…
Please think twice before selling, if someone else wants to take over, let em make their own Blog - this is your Blog and your baby - and id rather check here in 6 months and see you back on form again than watch you sell it now.
I have just quit my job and built an office with 5 workstations in bangkok, ready to take you mentoring and start seriously - who will i follow now?
best wishes to you, and chin up!

Wow, I’m bummed. I was following your case study on the website you were building from scratch, echemotherapy. I just started one myself through SBI and was looking to use some of your techniques. Oh well, for anyone looking to follow the success of a newbie starting a site from scratch, feel free to follow success/mistakes over at my current blog Everyday Finance. I’ll be starting a diary of earnings, activities, etc. soon.
Jim Karter responded on 12 Jan 2009 at 8:59 pm #
Guys, to be frank, I never knew people get benefited so much from my posts. I am feeling great.
Many people have asked me to not sell or handover the site to anybody else. Well, I never planned to sell it. But now, I will also not hand it over to somebody else as well.
After reading all these replies, I think I will keep it to myself, but with no commitments that how often I will be updating it.
So, the moral of the story is that I will myself will be updating this site again, but the number of posts may be quite less in numbers, like lets say once a week or even less.

Great New Jim!
Thanks so much for reconsidering - I know blogging can be a pain in the proverbial sometimes, and some of the idiots online really do get to us sometimes, to the point where we take it personal and wonder why do we even bother with all the ungreatful comments.
The fact is the silent bystanders are here, and in big numbers… those who actually make comments are not a good indicator of your real readers, i never subscribed to your feeds or any bogs feeds for that matter as im oldschool but we are here and reading!
Lets not forget what or where we really are in the world, i often check in every few weeks and if there is no new posts, thats cool i know there will be when there needs to be!
quality beats quantity!

I for one, I am following your moves and guide step-by-step in building my online empire.
About the frequency of posting, like someone above said - QUALITY is better than QUANTITY. Just keep it coming, when you feel like. Knowing you, you will always let us know of important and helpful information.
Thanks a lot, once again, for reconsidering. You are a leader indeed because of your listening ears.
